I have never seen VAR give a free kick. And certainly not a yellow card. Makes sense the reds, but that was nonsense yesterday. Capped off an awful refereeing performance.

VAR can’t give free kicks? Never seen that since it came in. Ref never thought there was anything wrong with the challenge. Baffling

Just back now and seen it. I didn’t think you could give a yellow from VAR? Thought it was a red or nothing. Ref never even gave a free kick initially.

We absolutely were as bad as people were making out. Brentford away was one of the most turgid games I’ve ever sat through and palace never got out of second gear and tonked us.
