It’s been very encouraging to read this today and see the £270 million in funding for arts and culture in England. Looking forward to reading about all of the exciting projects that can come from this moving forwards!

Recently listened to Bastille’s album released earlier this year and I love the concept. It uses music to explore some well-known (and some lesser-known) historical pairings. There must be loads of other examples like this. Any ideas, Bluesky? #history #heritage

Volunteers make such a tremendous difference in heritage. Their passion, commitment and knowledge is invaluable. A highlight of a visit to a heritage site anywhere in the UK is often an interaction with a volunteer!
