I can't imagine writing for TV or video games in the age of unending culture wars. You spend years writing something, and here come the culture war tourist and their gaggle of weirdos who haven't touched a book since high-school to "analyze" the writing.

Growing up in realizing that bluegill and pumkinseeds were always there for you. Sunfish never ask you to be anything other than yourself from your first cast to your last. They deserve more love.

My favorite part of this job is hearing people figure out in real time that clinging to the windshield of the boyfriend's moving vehicle like a face hugger from Alien to keep them from breaking up might have been an unhinged thing to do.
