We should also remember that Obama's Senate majority included these people: Blanche Lincoln, Joe Lieberman, Evan Bayh, Mary Landrieu, Max Baucus, Ben Nelson, Kent Conrad, Byron Dorgan, Arlen Specter, Tim Johnson, and Jim Webb.
Without conservative Dem senators, it would have been a minority.

Obama had 60 votes in the Senate for a *very* brief window. I'm sorry the Senate doesn't work on a 110 minute timeframe to do things, but it's not a movie.
