DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA lacks what made the first film so fun by dragging itself down with seriousness. However, it really turns up the heat with Jackson and Butler sharing scenes, especially a nail-biter of a heist. Good action and the tease of another film keep me interested.

BETTER MAN is completely mental and the best (traditional) biopic of 2024. Michael Gracey's directing chops are what make this film as great as it is with ludicrously well-directed musical numbers & incredible CGI. Don't be deceived by the gimmick, you won't notice it by the end.

BETTER MAN is completely mental and the best (traditional) biopic of 2024. Michael Gracey's directing chops are what make this film as great as it is with ludicrously well-directed musical numbers & incredible CGI. Don't be deceived by the gimmick, you won't notice it by the end.

I think DAHOMEY has some really great moments, but as a whole, I don't think it works as well as it should because of its length. It doesn't have enough time to expound upon its ideas and imagery to exhibit the power of taking back one's culture back from colonialism.

A COMPLETE UNKNOWN is a musical biopic done right and I'm happy it was James Mangold behind the helm. Highly entertaining and moved like a breeze. It has one major issue: while everyone in the cast was just being, Chalamet was trying. It also falls short for clinging to clichés.

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 is definitely the best in the franchise so far. Some quality action scenesand good performances all around (Reeves is perfect for Shadow) still succumb to the drawbacks of franchise's childish tone and writing. A nice movie for families this holiday season.
