Went to the orthopedist yesterday. Dr. Smith said I should finish out my remaining PT appointments, but my ankle fractures are all completely healed, so I’ve reached MMI: “Maximum Medical Improvement”! 💃☺️

I signed up to go to the protest in Frederick today, but unfortunately my broken ankle put a stop to that. 😞 This was the shirt I was going to wear. If you protested today, THANK YOU for standing up for ALL our rights! I stand with you (metaphorically for now). ❤️ 🤍💙 💪

The orthopedist took more x-rays and confirmed my “fracture of the lateral malleolus of the fibula.” I must keep resting & wearing the immobilizing boot. Fractures generally take about 6 to 8 weeks to heal. I don’t need surgery, thankfully! Don’t think I’ll be driving for at least another month.
