this little detail in a different section felt like kind of a deep cut. I wonder if flight of the navigator was big in japan?

they also had a big detailed model of tokyo-3 complete with buildings that would descend into their protected underground chambers, which was very cool. but i was excited to find these two

there was a lot to see but one of my favorite bits was a whole area where you roleplay sitting in an airport lounge, complete with announcements/boarding calls and aircraft sounds, while below you little airplanes taxi, take off, and land on miniature runways (with a day/night cycle and fake sky!!)
