I’m fighting fascism with joy today. Can’t face the news, so I’m looking within. I’ll focus on my art—working on a quilt for my great-nephew and a crochet sweater for my sister I will play with the dog and nap with the cat in my lap. I will cook for people I love.

Mine is a medium dog who shines with joy when he is de-fluffing one of his stuffies. The inconvenience is when I then have to spend 36 minutes picking up all the fluff that turned the living room into a winter wonderland.

Hi from the other end of TX21! I posted elsewhere that they packed and cracked our blue votes by taking a sliver from each of the densely populated cities of Austin and San Antonio and a wide swath of red rural Texas to guarantee Roy’s seat.

Texas is gerrymandered to hell and back. Austin and San Antonio, major blue dots, have been packed and cracked to break up our D votes. Chip Frickin Roy reps TX21 which pulls dense slivers from both cities and a huge swath of red rural counties. He may be my rep, but he doesn’t represent me!

I support my trans and queer brothers and sisters every day. They are in danger, and shouldn’t be. We need to fight back. Celebrating Pride Month is a small but important first step.

Just over a month ago, we, too, lost our beloved doggo Atlas to canine lymphoma. It hit fast and hard, less than 2 weeks between diagnosis and crossing the rainbow bridge. My heart is with you. 💔

This is Augie, Augustus Maximillian Mueller the Third. On Monday, he officially will join our family after a two week foster-to-adopt period. He is 14 months old and has spent his entire life at the shelter. He’s shy, skittish, reactive, and distrustful of people. 1/

Not a Golden, but my doggo Atlas had an amazing knowledge lump. Sadly, cancer took him from us two days ago.
