We need non-violent civil disobedience from our political leaders. Make the sergeant at arms etc drag every Dem out of the chamber one by one. Disrupt all Congressional business peacefully. No business as usual.

I have always wondered if there is such a thing as objective legal analysis or if essentially all legal decisions are based on identifying the desired outcome and than searching for case law/precedents that support the desired outcome.

The Presidential election is actually a state by state affair due to the Electoral College. So unless the EC. Is eliminated via due process or force, Trump would have to find a sufficient # of states willing to defy the Constitution and put him on the ballot.

IMHO now is the time for the Dems in the House and Senate to engage in disruptive civil disobedience and force the Repubs to drag each Dem out of his or her respective chamber.

I would like to see constant non-violent physical disruptions of Congress and Trump events. Make the Sgt at Arms drag all 215 Dems out of the Chamber.

I am not a Katy Tur fan but I believe that MSNBC sees her representing a slightly Big Orange Felon-friendly perspective they hope will attract some conservative viewers. Doesn’t seem to be working so far.

When we had the opportunity to really clamp down on racism we took the appeasement approach instead. From the Electoral College to the anti-democratic structure of the Senate to the bungling of Reconstruction. With Malice toward none… is a great concept but not when confronting evil.
