I am tired of hearing the pundit class complain that Dem leaders have no plan except making speeches and issuing press releases about the Big Bad Orange Man. I would rather the pundit class make strategic suggestions that get around the Dems lack of legislative, exec, or judicial (SCOTUS) control.

There needs to be a program of massive civil disobedience stopping just short of violence both inside and outside the Capitol.
@schumer.senate.gov , you said openly defying SCOTUS was a redline.

Folks plead for the Dems “to do something”. But besides stoking the electorate to vote Blue in ‘26, what can they do without control of anything and when confronted by a Trump Party that seems to care not a whit about anything except destroying the govt? And The Felon controls all enforcement.

The only guiding principles MAGAts cleave to are the unassailable perfection of their imperious leader and giving the middle finger to all existing government structures and behavioral norms. Think A Clockwork Orange (Guy).
The big story today is the Matt Gaetz report.
The bigger story should be the incoming President, despite knowing what Gaetz is, because everyone in Congress knew, still wanted to make him the Attorney General of the United States.

Hard to believe that Hegseth and Patel could be confirmed. But then again I found it hard to believe that Trump could be elected.

Now might be a good time for our democratic allies to change their immigration policies to allow for those who want to flee Trumpism to immigrate legally. Could be a reverse brain drain.

As someone who lived in co-ed dorms with co-ed communal bathrooms at Columbia in the 1970s, the notion of being horrified by transgender use of cisgender bathrooms seems…..silly, stupid, and disingenuous.

The notion that a Presidential candidate with state felony convictions, state indictments, and federal indictments could be elected President was unheard of….until it was heard of. The system is broken and it is not clear if it can be fixed.
