Formulating systems such as Capitalism must be natural. We’ve been dealing with top-down rule for thousands of years in many different forms. There’s something about our species where we tend to give immense power to the worst among us. It seems to be a human thing.

Of course all of those things are part of human nature. They happen in the natural world. It’s not demons or ghosts. It doesn’t justify it, but we really need to be honest with ourselves that there‘s probably something fundamental about our species that makes the worst people rise to power.

But it happens in nature and it’s humans that do it, so it must be part of human nature. The word “nature” doesn’t need to have positive connotations in order to be accurate. In nature, sometimes species aren’t built for survival and go extinct. It’s still nature.

But it did, in fact, happen. So unless your explanation involves the supernatural (an intervention from a talking snake that’s actually the Devil, perhaps), you cannot really explain why it isn’t a part of human nature.

There’s no possibility of or reason to salvage the term “AI.” Literally just call it something else. It was already thought of more as a science fiction term before the recent slop era. Just let the term be associated with dangerous, evil technology that will destroy humanity.
