The radio news reader said that Gene Hackman was famous for playing Lex Luthor in the Superman films, which I think says more about the news reader (or whoever wrote the report) than it does about Gene Hackman

So, Ukraine is the aggressive dictatorship and Russia is the brave freedom loving democracy that is under attack? Shouldn't you have to do some kind of Political Exam before running for President to show you have a basic grasp of World Politics?

Personally I think Donald Trump is to be applauded for his commitment to trying to unite a fractious and divided Europe against a common enemy.

Sadly the destructive asteroid set to crash into Earth won't actually arrive for another 7 years. I'm not sure if there's going to be much left to actually destroy by then.

I can't help thinking that introducing a Murder/Banishment element to this year's Apprentice would help keep them on their toes. It's only been on 30 minutes and I've got my eye on a few that could be killed off

After the latest Wallace and Gromit adventure, some people are calling for Gromit to be the next James Bond,which is of course ludicrous given he's a dog.
But I see no reason why the next James Bond couldn't be made of plasticine...
