Came across this guy today and had to get him. Sam the Eagle was the mascot of the 1984 Olympics, held in Los Angeles. He was created by Disney Legend Bob Moore. In addition to creating Sam, Bob also worked as an animator on Dumbo and served as one of Walt’s official autographers.

NEW: Monsters, Inc. land will replace Muppets Courtyard and Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios. To make way for monsters, the Muppets will take over Rock 'n Roller Coaster and "team up with music's biggest starts for a rockin' music festival."

This feels so much worse than 2016. That was bad, but Trump’s capacity to wreak havoc was TBD at that point. This time he’s got the Supreme Court, the Senate, possibly the house, and the resources and allies to destroy everything and everyone. What a miserable time to be alive.
