Yeah, I know how to mitigate bacteria with 3d prints cuz I do it for a living. Done the research. Worked the problem. Found the solutions. Getting beaten, kidnapped, and killed by a gang of masked thugs is an exponentially higher threat than the bacteria on your whistle.

Got some microscopic evidence? There are no gaps between the layers with proper 3d printing, at the most extreme there are ridges along the surface. Plenty of ways to mitigate the bacteria though - sanding, polishing, bleach, UV light from our friend the sun.
