Not much experience with wellies, but if you do decide to buy boots again, Haix Commander boots are quite good. Hardly used grade A on ebay for around £60 and they do well in all weather. It's slightly satisfying using ex army boots for nurturing positive work like gardening and tree planting etc🌈🌱💚

Another excellent example of why we need keystone species and rich diversity to help keep everything in balance for a healthy ecosystem. Wolves might not be a realistic option in the UK, but it would be great if we could reintroduce lynx to manage deer populations, wild boar, and also more beavers.
