I don't think it was either, at least if it was, it hadn't been transcribed or published widely. He had to have known the characters, though?
Would you happen to know which issue of the Sunday Times Midsummer Nightmare was published? I think it was maybe Aug 27 or Sep 3, but not sure...

Congrats on the article, I have been researching exactly the same thing! Do you think Freddie could have seen the original manuscript? There was also an article about Dadd in Oz in 1971, I think it's likely Freddie could have seen that!
