OK, I see. I think it’s kind of funny that the monument marker is just this crappy little concrete thing. I probably shouldn’t say this, but the guy that owns the land is apparently pretty cool and open to visitors. I wish there was something more substantial there to mark the spot.

Dakota Sandstone leaf impressions. My fossil hunting buddy prepped this out. Only a bit of a couple of leaves could originally be seen. You can sort of explore until you find another leaf and go from there. The ephemeral nature of a falling leaf from 100 million years ago is beautifully captured.

I found 375 associated teeth from the Niobrara of Kansas. Interestingly, I have several developing replacement teeth which up until this find I had never even seen.
