I have worked at 4 public library systems and there are many constants. One of them is we never buy new door stoppers despite the ones we have not really being functional anymore

This was a threat one of my Borders managers wrote on a register that was acting up, and it still amuses me all these years later. I think many of us still have the ick from certain holiday albums we had to play back then
