The distributions are called the social welfare state. It's higher wages, health care, shorter work weeks, legal vacations, and educational support. They are a national ecological restoration project. They are redesigning our transport system to minimize the need for cars. It's not magical.

You need to look at our own history and at other countries. Including that horrifying, oppressive state called Canada. Our economic system from 1945 to 1980 targeted full employment and home ownership. Do you ever hear of "Norwegian Billionaires"? Japanese? No. They're taxed out of existence.

There are countries that do tax billionaires out of existence, and we once did also. Those countries all show better social health measurements, as did we from 1945 to 1970. The middle class was created by rules Roosevelt put in around 42-45. It didn't arise out of inequality.
