Not only is he minimizing the active Russian threat in the region by joking about it, he basically says that resistance is futile.

So not only is Belgium apparently useless as an ally against Russia, it says to nations that exist precisely because of this resistance that they should give up.

Obviously, the reason is to divert attention from the mounting internal problems. Europe is a good target, as it does better much of that which U.S. is failing at, and U.S. people should not realize that, since it would only underline the domestic failures.

Toki voisi ehdottaa myös kaatolupavapaata metsästystä. Kantaa on pyritty pienentämään myöntämällä enemmän kaatolupia.

All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.

Solutions to problems create new problems. Always and forever. The point is to get better problems. Which has worse problems now, Finland or Sweden?

Kolmannessa on yhtä numeroa pienempi jonotusnumero jne. ja kun vuorosi vihdoin tulee luukulla 24, siellä lukee "Tämä luukku on suljettu, siirtykää seuraavalle luukulle."

Nimenomaan nykyinen elämäntapamme on johtamassa noihin seurauksiin.

Also, as proof-tested last weekend, works great as a sleeping bag doubler. The most comfortable night ever in freezing temperatures. Also, getting out of the bag in the morning is no pain anymore.

OMG it's great. Like wearing nothing at all, but warm and comfy as hell (well more comfy and not that hot really). So easy to move even in the long version, that there is really no reason to fold the hem (other than being too warm and comfy). Compresses in ridiculously small bag and weighs nothing.

But the stuff can be converted into protein, as e.g. volare.fi is doing; feeding it to maggots, which are dried, which is then very good animal feed as such. Much better recycling that burning, which is always the final recycling cycle of anything.
October 23, 2025 at 7:19 AM
Fair point, but it's not that straightforward; all that stuff cannot just be spread on the field as such. And crop rotation is also precisely for that purpose. And converting the stuff into bioenergy basically means burning all that stuff.

There’s e.g. crop rotation, which aöways produces feedstuffs from foodland. There’s always a large sidestream of food crops that’s not ok for food but is for feed. There’s always non-edible sidestreams from food processing — e.g grain milling or beer and alcohol production produce huge amounts.
