I have read, twice, Kevin Wilson’s Run for the Hills. Kevin does a thing, that I think is synonymous with brilliant writing, he makes a character think or say a thing that is true for the character, the story they are in, & also for the world at large. In so doing he makes the reader see themselves.

I’m going to be zooming in for this, but I’m so glad to be part of this community at 100 West Corsicana, and I can’t wait to be there soon to do work that feels urgent to me.

I don’t enjoy listening to my own voice or even watching myself, I am grateful to lend my voice to an organization that’s changed my life, as it has done for countless others. @kenyonreview.bsky.social
