2 more days to apply for this 5-year research-focused postdoc position in my @erc.europa.eu team at @goetheuni.bsky.social on the politics of the educational cleavage!
I'm hiring another postdoc (research-focused, for almost 5 years) for my @erc.europa.eu project on the educational cleavage!
I'm looking for someone with strong quantitative text-analysis skills (e.g. #NLP, #LLM, etc.) to study the role of political actors in cleavage formation.

Come work on my new research project! We are studying whether and how #parentalLeave is shared in different types of families, how the use of parental leave has changed in different families since the 2000s, and how parents’ social environments influence their leave uptake.

Dear European colleagues - I'm on sabbatical, and if we make it to Fall I'm going to be in Italy Nov 4-6. I'd love to travel more and extend the trip. By then I'll have new things to say about pronatalism, as well as open social science and engagement etc.

Anomalies & data problems are found in the Hungarian EU SILC income data from around year 2017. It is very likely that the data was manipulated to decrease the poverty rate.

Annamaria Tatrai and Andras Gabos conducted a very thorough investigation of the issue: www.valaszonline.hu/2025/04/01/e...

Some friends and I built a little game where you can date the candidates running in the Austrian election in a couple of days, and they will tell you what they think about some issues. You can then compare your opinions with those of the respective parties. Enjoy! wienerkreisel.itch.io/kandidate
