Had to log in to my health insurance to check on something & was greeted by this banner, so decided to find out what's changing. Nearby county, premium for hypothetical individual making $22k will increase >4x, for extremely narrow network (so ? on how useful it will even be). Good times.

Another Father's Day without my dad. I remember how pleased he was after the Nov 2020 election, maybe the last time I talked to him, & am always wondering what he'd make of everything since. Not a day goes by that I don't think how lucky I was to be his daughter ❤️

Meanwhile, you know this isht bodes well. Job search is rife with indignities. No wonder we are all cranky. OTOH I've never been so consistent with working out in my life.

I was fortunate enough to get to see Mike Peters in a tiny venue almost exactly 11 years ago. Will always remember what a fantastic, intimate night of music & storytelling we enjoyed. RIP

I've had some appointments in a building where I initially noticed the electronic directory included a listing for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Ended up in that hallway today: seems to no longer be on the list... The slideshow includes this moment of inspiration

Was just thinking about this event & lo and behold, FB remembers. Commemorating the Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942 at Fort Mac Arthur. It was both cool & scary: ate in the bunker, listened to big band, interrupted by LOUD air defense. Surprised I didn't have nightmares, esp. after Mrs Minever😬
