Fucking bleak here as well to be honest, managed to wrangle a lift. But had I been wearing boots I'd have just chucked my valuables in the waterproof pouch in my bag and walked. Love the rain, I truly do. But I don't love soaking wet trainers.

- I saw a lady sitting across from me talking to a young boy whilst I was on the bus and I could have sworn out of the corner of my eye she was signing. She wasn't, and I took off my headphones and turns out she just gestures a lot, got off at the next stop but it was a nice friendly chat.

Bless you, worlds a weird and scary place as of late huh? I'm pretty great, I found a new sword school I'll start on Tuesday. I had a phenomenal few days with friends I consider family, with lots of great food, conversation and whiskey. I sorely needed that. Thought of you on the bus home-

"Look at you, it's like you've re-invented yourself!" A friend remarked on seeing me whilst we were chatting at a table, I responded more or less without thinking "No, I'm being more myself"

And I think that's the key thing, unmasking and being who I am makes me content.

Ok fine now, my friend. It's a reality of being autistic the world despite my wishes for it to be and me trying to make it manageable. It just isn't, and sometimes that gets unbearable for too long. But time with great friends and a whole lot of love snapped me out of it. I'm great now.

Thanks for sharing this I haven't had the mental energy lately and was suffering some rough autistic burnout, but I've passed through it and I'm good now so I'll get back on top of this.
