Hmmm, not the falchion but might satisfy the need. Have since built a pell, wear leather gloves and we always had a first aid kit and tourniquet on standby as accidents may happen.

Said blunt falchion by Blue Dog Forge out of Carlisle. It was intended to be a Conyers Falchion, but the spec was a bit off. So it became a slightly shorter lighter one. The Conyers Falchion is likely what the Vorpal blade from the Jabberwocky was based on. #Hema #Swordcialists
The falchion is a type of European, single-edged medieval sword characterized by a broad blade that is optimized for powerful cuts. It appeared in various forms from the 13th to the 16th century and essentially combined the cutting power of an axe with the handling and versatility of a sword. The common misconception though is that they were heavy cumbersome awkward axe-like things. But they are not, they are surprisingly thin and agile. And I think that's the key thing, unmasking and being who I am makes me content.
Myself in Landsknetch styled clothing. A selfie taken in a full length mirror, which I am standing about 4 feet back from. I am wearing two toned attire, black and a mustard sort of yellow being the two colours. The arming doublet is split into two sections, with ruffled upper arms that are puffy and split often. Revealing the contrast colour beneath. I am wearing a leather belt at my waist, that has one large pouch, one smaller one and a larger one at the rear with buckles. The clothing is all made to look slashed revealing the contrast colours below.

I have a Todesca, and after about an hour swinging it about in the garden I can say it's everything I thought it would be, light, responsive, nimble and beautiful. Now she needs a name, but that'll come in time. #Hema #Swordcialists
A Malleus Martialis, Todesca longsword, rested against the wall in the flat, tip on the cardboard on the floor. It is quite long and fairly thin in profile, has a blue cord wrap on the grip, a plain crossguard, and a pear shaped pommel.

Oh and since this may prompt some interaction with some lovely people #Swordcialists #Hema my Todesca from Malleus Martialis has finished manufacturing and I should have that by the 30th without issue.
The image has a light grey background, at the centre of the image is a longsword. It has a handle long enough for two hands to grip, the pommel (counterweight of sorts on the end of the grip) is pear shaped, the grip itself is a royal blue (the grip is waisted in simplest explanation it bulges around the mid point, to let you index and feel the grip and hold it easily) the blade is 101cm long and has a re-enforced rounded tip to make it safe for Hema with adequate protection. The makers mark unless I'm mistaken is on the Ricasso. The metal on the longsword shines nicely in the image and I'm sure if will be polished or at least have a nice shine. The crossguard is straight across and unadorned, plain steel functional and pretty. The blade has a Ricasso in this case a flat piece before the diamond blade shape begins. For me personally this will let me place my thumb against it easily for better control in certain plays or master strikes. Mine is as pictured, royal cord, 101cm blade with a ricasso, standard finish, pear shaped pommel, straight crossguard, diamond blade. Tech specs below. Yeah, up at 06:45 most days for work. Well work starts at 08:00 but I go get a coffee with a colleague and another supervisor before work. Even get a little bit of cake rather than a biscuit at Delice.

Got the first image of my Pavel Moc, it's a bit of a strange hybrid. The crossguard is from a Talhoffer. The Pommel is different to counter the length and weight, the blade looks like an XVA to me or possibly a XVIIIB. Either way it's paid for and I'll hopefully get hold of it sometime next week.
My new longsword from Pavel Moc. It has a straight unadorned crossguard, a black leather wrapped grip, an oval shaped pommel and a long slender blade, which I believe to be an XVA type. The sword is resting on a hard wood floor or table that is marked with oil or paint. The sword has a mark of some sort near the crossguard made with marker, as it had yet to be polished, boxed and sent my way.

A sword by Arann Reichhardt Swordsmith. It's a type XVA longsword with a fishtail pommel. The scabbard has red leather fixings and brass or copper detailing the main body of the scabbard is in black, and it's just utterly gorgeous. There is also a bonus of a grey cat who is also beautiful.

Something very Autistic that I do? (I do actually have diagnosed autism, this isn't a oh my god I'm so autistic or everyone is a bit autistic thing). Sorted my rowntrees Randoms by colour and type. I'll do the same with Haribo and then eat them in groups all of each one one by one.

Ordered a White Well Arms pollaxe as I've got overtime at work for at least three weeks. Mine will have four Langets and be sharp.
