1/8 Without stronger economic pressure, prospects for a sustainable ceasefire in Russia’s war stay remote. 2 priorities stand out, and 2 proposals, new at least to me, I find noteworthy for Europe to regain agency in confronting the relentless aggressor supported by authoritarian allies.

If the EU wants to matter in SCCA, it will want to ensure it presents itself as a partner.

Ohnehin muss Kyjiw entscheiden, welche Abwägungen für die eigenen Menschen militärisch & gesellschaftlich tragbar sind. Für die Zukunft der Ukraine & Europas zählt: Die EU muss ihre neu geschaffenen Spielräume mit Handlungsfähigkeit untermauern.
