Sean Connery was the best overall Bond
Goldfinger was the best overall villain, though he was hampered by his lack of cool animals.
And Jaws was obviously the best henchman, he even got a redemption arc!

Goldfinger is actually an excellent example of what Terry Brooks talks about when he says the strength of the protagonist is measured by the threat of the antagonist.
Goldfinger is such a formidable opponent that Bond comes off looking amazing.

I love Goldfinger in all its campy, problematic glory, but Bond spends the whole movie failing at everything except seducing women and deactivating a bomb at the end.

Bring back the aquatic car from The Spy Who Loved Me, that’s the continuity the people want.

JAMES BOND ONCE INVADED A SMUGGLER’S CASTLE WITH AN ARMY OF SEXY CIRCUS WOMEN.

When I think about it, which is not often to be fair, it’s more like every Bond actor is in a different universe.
Especially since the tone often changes with the actor.

A bunch of suffering was endured by folks who are all much poorer than any US Senator, in the name of avoiding all those needless health care deaths. Folks were struggling to pay bills, buy food, take care of their families.

It’s also why I’m not the person to discuss whiteness in that context. Working class to upper middle class is the extent of my experience, and I can’t speak outside of it.
