A YES on cloture is a YES for the bill.

Do not let anyone play games with you.

Both the bill and a shutdown have negative impacts, but some argue that a shutdown is the greater issue.
I’m going to take this a step further: If you vote no on cloture, but do not publicly call for Schumer’s resignation, sit down until you have something worthwhile to say.

Musk is unilaterally wrecking the government from within and lining his own pockets. Get him out, terminate his access to all government systems. If you can't rally the public against a cartoonishly corrupt bond villain who's stealing from them in plain sight then get out of politics
Senate Democrats met privately today for lunch to discuss strategy. They widely disapprove of the six-month bill that House Republicans passed, but they remain jittery about a government shutdown if it fails. With Rand Paul a NO, the bill needs at least 8 Dems to pass the Senate. Jury's still out.

Perhaps reinstating the draft could encourage young people to be more involved, as many currently seem lost in the world of video games and social media.

I don't receive enough interaction to justify it, but I can still do the loincloth thing, right?
You occasional reminder that here, unlike the Bad Place, the ethos calls for instantly blocking trolls, never engaging, arguing, or dunking. If it makes you feel any better, you can shout THIS! IS! BLUEEESKYYYY! like Gerard Butler in a loincloth while doing it.
