In non-political news I have been working hard on renovations in a 1947 cinderblock and stucco post WW2 house. Bathroom linen closet. Patched, caulked, painted, wallpapered, repaired, and ready for another 50 years of service I hope! I keep learning so much each project I do! +1 to all skills

She is so pretty! Glad she is inside now and won't be making kittens this season. Beautiful girl. I have two grey floofs myself. They were from the Stanton SPCA about 10 years ago. One is super tiny like your girl! 7 lbs at 10 years old.

Happy New Year everyone! Hoping we all stay safe. Take care of each other! I sort of think of the year turning at Solstice because the days get longer - which I can certainly appreciate. Spent it quietly at home, like normal except the darn fireworks. Also baked bread. A loaf I made a bit ago.

Willow has been certifiably pissed at me for a solid week after getting locked on the screen porch for 2 hours. Like, actively avoiding me, eating and going straight back upstairs. She was acting like a moody teenager! No talking to me or hanging out with me.

Between WoW secrets I need to finish, and a sudden creative building spree in Palia, I have been gaming a ton! Thankfully it is winter now so the outside project work is as done as it is getting. I can play all the games! Had a bit of a feline scare yesterday. Willow was locked on the screen porch!

So, a MAJOR immediate change here. I actually see posts by the people I am following. I have not seen some in over a year, despite them posting. The hell site would never show me the actual friends, just whatever dreck it felt like. Much better here. Hi again friends! Cat tax Willow.

I keep forgetting to post here. Still have Ellie the blind foster kitten until her surgery for eye sockets & spay. She has removed most of her with over grooming so is on Gabapentin and I upgraded her little suit with canvas patches to stop her putting holes in it. It seems to work!

So, Eloise (Ellie) is still here. She gets her next set of vaccines tomorrow if my car works. Just had to repair that AGAIN. I did the troubleshooting and got the part, had the shop install it. SUPER stressed/anxious and sleeping a lot. *sigh*. Still not sure I can integrate Ellie with my other 3.

Ellie does like to hunt even without eyes! Currently she uses her litter pan to hide in and stalk things. Continuing to work on slowly introducing her to my 3. A few blurry pics from today of her quarantine bathroom, stalking, attacking slipper laces, and her adorable face .

Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars! Dill is a favorite food so I plant enough for me and enough for them too. I had 8 and now they are fat, full, and gone.

In other news. Beautiful summer day. My birdseed sunflowers are blooming and this one has many flowers on one stalk. I also have swallowtail caterpillars in the dill! Tiny bee on the sunflower! Testing pic uploading with this post. Seems it allows 4.
