Of course there is a heat wave and the AC decided to die overnight. *sigh*. They can get to me in a week. Yay? I won't die or anything but it certainly is not optimal. Compressor unit outside won't turn on at all despite thermostat thinking it is on and turning on the blower motor for the fan.

In non-political news I have been working hard on renovations in a 1947 cinderblock and stucco post WW2 house. Bathroom linen closet. Patched, caulked, painted, wallpapered, repaired, and ready for another 50 years of service I hope! I keep learning so much each project I do! +1 to all skills

In non-political news I have been working hard on renovations in a 1947 cinderblock and stucco post WW2 house. Bathroom linen closet. Patched, caulked, painted, wallpapered, repaired, and ready for another 50 years of service I hope! I keep learning so much each project I do! +1 to all skills
So, I have an old small digital TV and an antenna to go with it. In the past I could get no reception on it at all. I live in a faraday cage. On a whim, I took it upstairs today and tried it in the office. I have something like 7 channels! Including one basic network channel with nightly news stuff

Happy New Year everyone! Hoping we all stay safe. Take care of each other! I sort of think of the year turning at Solstice because the days get longer - which I can certainly appreciate. Spent it quietly at home, like normal except the darn fireworks. Also baked bread. A loaf I made a bit ago.

Palia Majji Market week! More things to get tickets for and decorate with. It really is a cozy game and I have been feeling really stressed with all the STUFF going on. At least building new plots out like the CS Lounge, makes me feel accomplished. IRL made a huge batch of chili for warm cozy feels.

Willow has been certifiably pissed at me for a solid week after getting locked on the screen porch for 2 hours. Like, actively avoiding me, eating and going straight back upstairs. She was acting like a moody teenager! No talking to me or hanging out with me.

Well, this is going to be interesting. They are finally penalizing people who intentionally brick/leave mythic keys.

Between WoW secrets I need to finish, and a sudden creative building spree in Palia, I have been gaming a ton! Thankfully it is winter now so the outside project work is as done as it is getting. I can play all the games! Had a bit of a feline scare yesterday. Willow was locked on the screen porch!

So, a MAJOR immediate change here. I actually see posts by the people I am following. I have not seen some in over a year, despite them posting. The hell site would never show me the actual friends, just whatever dreck it felt like. Much better here. Hi again friends! Cat tax Willow.

Yep. All the feels today. Yesterday all the things that are upsetting/scary hit me hard. Callie-cat's death, dad's cancer, personal medical cost/insurance concerns, the horrible fears that come with the election and destruction of our support/govt systems. Bricks hit hard some days.

I made this account a while ago, but now it seems like the Twit site has been imploding, not that it has been good for a long time. Hello folks. Nice to see you all. I don't know that I will post a lot, but who knows. Maybe. Updates - playing lots of WoW, D4, and Palia still.

I keep forgetting to post here. Still have Ellie the blind foster kitten until her surgery for eye sockets & spay. She has removed most of her with over grooming so is on Gabapentin and I upgraded her little suit with canvas patches to stop her putting holes in it. It seems to work!

So, Eloise (Ellie) is still here. She gets her next set of vaccines tomorrow if my car works. Just had to repair that AGAIN. I did the troubleshooting and got the part, had the shop install it. SUPER stressed/anxious and sleeping a lot. *sigh*. Still not sure I can integrate Ellie with my other 3.

Ellie does like to hunt even without eyes! Currently she uses her litter pan to hide in and stalk things. Continuing to work on slowly introducing her to my 3. A few blurry pics from today of her quarantine bathroom, stalking, attacking slipper laces, and her adorable face .

Eloise my blind foster kitten is had a good day medically today. No vomiting and by this evening stools were a bit better. She is eating! I also was able to get the icky Metronidazole down followed by a tuna broth chaser. She has more energy and interest in things too.

I have a new foster kitten named Eloise! She was born without fully formed eyes, but is not in pain. Seems healthy. Six weeks old and 1 lb. Needs to get to 8 weeks and 2 lbs! Friendly and calm so far. First blind kitten I have dealt with.

In other news. Beautiful summer day. My birdseed sunflowers are blooming and this one has many flowers on one stalk. I also have swallowtail caterpillars in the dill! Tiny bee on the sunflower! Testing pic uploading with this post. Seems it allows 4.

Sort of finished setting up my profile here. Yay? Used my WoW forum avatar which works well enough. I hate that I can't set this to private, but on the other hand I can reply again which is sort of nice. Hopefully the block and mute tools work well here if needed.

So, I made an account and I exist here now. Will have to rebuild my connections list. Usually found on the Blizz forums as a green poster for tech/cs help. Old, retired, still gaming, gardening. Going to be so strange to find everyone again on a new platform :(
