Beste professor, links-rechts is dood in Vlaanderen

Mooi interview met Jacinda Arden in The Guardian. “I think the rehumanisation of people in public life is really important.”

Attended a very well organised and interesting media panel at Milltown yesterday. In the panel: Politico, FT, Euractiv.

If there is one thing we’re all tired of in Brussels its the sort of panels where the guests nod in agreement. This wasn’t one of them.

(Sorry for a shitty picture).

More than half of voting bureaus yet to be counted, but Rama is leading so far and is set to secure his fourth term. However, this time around, he might have difficulties forming a broad majority in parliament. #Albania #Elections

The nepotism in Brussels' politics. Rudi Vervoort settles for 3rd place on the regional list but as a compensation he gets to give his partner and son a good spot on the communal list. Insanity.

Brussels communes & taxing charging stations: the lasagna of issues - a summary:

1. Yay charging stations except when it costs a parking spot
2. Tax everything because communes & budgets..
3. ALL communes need to agree = good luck
4. That one time 'the conference of mayors' is somewhat a thing

I discussed my role as the president of Young VLD Brussels and shared insights about the city in an interview with OVLD. Recognizing Brussels' ongoing challenge to cater to diverse interests, I emphasized that there isn’t a ‘one-size-fits-all’ strategy to Brussels. There’s power in compromising.
