And yes! The scaffolding is entirely bamboo - secured with plastic ties. That's what they use even on huge skyscrapers, here in Hong Kong. The workers all have safety harnesses on but only one in three eight climbing around is actually attached to the safety line!

Oh I'm so sorry I didn't realise my autocorrect had dinged my comment ... It was supposed to say 'dehydrated natto' - it's already flavoured with a touch of soy and is delightfully crunchy!
