When your dear friend has a leg amputation, what do you do but knit them a single sock? It was fun to find a pattern with right and left socks (Vaidava Memories by Zanete Hussain), and to use a remnant skein of Koigu. 🧶

Every year I grouse that if it's going to be cold and winter, there ought to be snow on the ground, and this month I got my wish! Because of the snow and ice, @jasonkrieger.bsky.social were home for most of the month. I cross-stitched a lot and (not pictured) played Stardew.

Very happy with this legwarmer design so far. Using the Rib & Rope cable from Norah Gaughan's Cable Sourcebook. (I proofread this in hard copy way back when, and oof I hope I caught that while the chart and text match, they don't match the photo! I'm knitting it to match the photo.) #knitting
