They had lawyers, trials, most were given pretrial release, allowed to testify in their own defense, got discovery, could call witnesses, could cross-examine witnesses, could present mitigation at sentencing, and had a right to appeal.

Do you know why rural and working people are listening to Walz and AOC and Bernie?

Because they tell the damn truth. Because they are passionate about people. Because they are authentic. Because they care.

All I want to do is stay home and create. Write songs and stories, sketch, paint, etc.

It is an unfortunate thing that days like this, when my mood is off, lead to the most creative art (visual or musical).

As an artist I struggle with the balance between doing art for others and doing art for me. If I’m working on commissions it kills my drive to work in my sketchbook and on my own creative ideas, but if I focus on my own stuff I don’t have time to work on commissions.
