Creator of Vyrzon for the Vectrex. Currently working on Vyrzon II, old school shoot-em-up.

Strongly opposed to LLM AI.
I could do something like that, aside from the regenerating...at the moment the bosses can have multiple parts, but when destroyed that part is gone for good. I could add an invisible 'part' for the shield easily enough...

The graphics are pre-rotated, 16 directions. It could be done real time but would need more ram than I can spare (& would be be slower).

Stick & fire button (tap for normal, hold for focus shot), plus a bomb button.

May change in future but happy with that at the moment.

Ah yeah maybe not, but it's fine with a full size dedicated analog stick.

It's criticised for not really doing any time travel like the first one, which I agree with. But I love it, perhaps would have benefitted with a different name.

You can play it with an analog joystick, that's all the Atari yoke is really.

I like this one but I always feel that the player movement (left/right especially) is too slow.

It's a wonderful, tough game. Very difficult to master.

I can only imagine how impressive it must have seemed on it's release, just a year after Space Invaders.
