Politicians like being popular and feeling special so wonder how GOP politicians are handling being so hated by the majority. Also ICE agents and police who help with the raids. They are use to criminals hating them but not the general public. The masks don’t hide the shame.

@maddow.msnbc.com May I suggest that on the social security stories you put a face (s) to it. Let individuals tell what their lives will be like if they lose this benefit they have earned. I think the general public needs to see and understand the people who be affected .

We need to start highlighting individual human stories more. The human mind doesn't respond to abstractions and concepts and intellectual arguments in the same way it does to real stories of individual people. Federal workers and their families, refugees dying painful slow deaths, suicides, etc.
