I was reading Mexico has a limited 12 year term and after which they can't serve on the court again. Lifetime appointments aren't all that great in this day and age, Thomas has sat his fat ass on the court for 40 years.

I’ve been noticing increasing numbers of young women being hauled out of their cars by ICE here in Chicago. Given that there is no ID and no warrant and unmarked vehicles, why are we not assuming that there is human trafficking going on here under the guise of “immigration enforcement”?

ICE kidnapped a 7th-grader with a pending asylum claim and spirited him out of state without notifying his parents, seemingly with the cooperation of the local police in Everett, MA.

I think it motivates everyone around him too. They're trying to speed things up and implement the level of control they want before he dies. As of now they don't have it and they just don't have the numbers of people they need to do it.
