You do what makes you comfortable; I find that a few candles ( sometimes battery ones! ) are cheery in the darkest days, but it’s a personal choice.

Sometimes we had both grannies; the one entertained/ distracted the other. Any possibility you could do something similar? Otherwise, take a vote?
