It’s a magic place isn’t it? You might enjoy reading The Outrun - I’ve just finished it for my bookclub next week. It’s probably classed as a recovery memoir, but it is mostly set in Orkney and the sense of place is incredible. It will definitely make you want to visit again!

Ha yes! My son wore gloves during the -6 walk to school yesterday. Wouldn’t quite lower himself to wear a hat tho. Apparently they don’t work 🤷♀️
