Architecture & Aotearoa.
Opinions are my own.
If I accounted as creatively as #NickyNoBoats - surely this counts as public asset sales.

Not denying Uni’s don’t price gouge rents, but a public institution selling assets for revenue to balance the books is unsustainable.

Maybe fund our education? Invest in better in our future workforce? #NZPol

@xkaosmagex.bsky.social is 100% better with numbers than Nicky No Boats - kia ora for this gem 😭 Let us be wary, the premise of the filler phrase #wiwstyi enables the answerer to spin their agenda, steering the discourse away from the question. #bhn #nzpol

Would the Coalition criticise spending choices if #KaingaOra mandated the use of wool carpets? I support our farmers, but Patterson seems only concerned about environmental costs (of synthetic alternatives) when it comes to his voter base. 🤷🏻‍♀️ #nzpol

Punangairi is Paparoa National Park’s new visitor centre by Sheppard and Rout.

Green roofs are always a calcuated design choice, however this project aims to be double-carbon-zero, offsetting twice the embodied carbon over its lifecycle.

When you vote for tax-cuts from the central Government, costs are passed on and YOU still end up paying for it. Rates go up, public transport goes up. People can’t afford a ticket, routes are cut, accessibility hindered. How is this in the interest of productivity? #nzpol #nzherald #publictransport

Got to afford the landlord tax cuts somehow ! But seriously, what improves the lives of New Zealanders? A strong public service dedicated to healthy society, or putting money back in the hands of the Wealth Class who hoard and consolidate - who can afford private healthcare regardless. #nzpol

We did it. Mandate? What mandate 🤷🏻‍♀️

Developing a list to expose how ‘simple’ the #treatyprinciplesbill, its intents and consequences are to understand. Big words can be overwhelming, but surface-level supporters need convincing that this two-pager is not nearly enough! Feel free to add if you think I’ve missed anything. #nzpol

Turns out the MP for Epsom supports the opportunity for ‘participation’, meaning he understands one of the principles that the Waitangi Tribunal has established. I could muster an ounce of praise if he was honest about the real reason he has set out to change this! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ #nzpol #toitutetiriti
