I would add that Putin and the Kremlin have been actively engaging in disinformation campaigns to fuel online disputes and societal divisions in the United States for years.

We've been under attack and we have lost. Putin won.

They can not hold midterms. They must know it will be a disaster. They are not behaving as if they care about midterms.
And they should terrify everyone. Regardless of who you voted for.

They (whoever you believe to be running the government) is not operating as if they give one fuck about the midterms.

This is an important observation.

And this is what most disturbs me.

This is the real question we all need to be asking.

Why don't they care about the midterms?

We do need to fight. But from the place of building a better and more equitable way to coexist.

One of the things I'm most grateful for in this political landscape is that you decided to run. You decided to break the mold. That gave me hope and continues to give me hope for the future. Not all elected officials need to be millionaires.

I ran for local office after you ran and loved serving.
