Yes back to the 70s!! Complete strangers spitting and screaming N-word (and other insults) at you in the street and telling you to go back to where you come from. I remember that and my age was a single digit throughout the 70s.

To a person with no understanding of law that just seems like they are grasping for a post justification of their transphobia.
It also doesn't represent any real world situation. It also erases the fact that a person is transgender completely.
At least I understand their argument now...

But even after the SC judgement we still have the protected characteristic of Gender Reassignment. Is that the point the Minister was making?

Are they arguing that trans women should be excluded from using women's toilets because it discriminates against cisgender men. Also that cis women are discriminated against if a trans man is permitted to use the mens toilets.

Love this! Since 2018 my partner and I have had a tradition of watching Season 1 & 2 then FWWM then The Return every winter leading up to the Christmas period. In Season 2 ATM. I always think that it's the last time but then I always get excited about watching again when autumn comes around.

The government should legislate so that it is compatible with the HRA?
What would happen if the government didn't do anything?

All SS ever does is the round up of the days papers for whoever will pay her. Or some inconsequential piece that always has to mention trans people. She's always doing the rounds. Also nice of Emily Maitlis to confirm loud and clear about the lives she's helping to destroy.

It just dawned on me. This means trans kids will have no support in schools. The Labour government brought in Section 28 2.0 so school staff can't be there to support trans kids. Now they are cutting off contact with the outside world. So for the duration of school trans kids are alone. Truly sick.

They think it's more important to not be trans than for them to do anything about the hate and violence they are creating. They are treating us like we are infected with a contagion
