Nobody is feeling any “growth”. The cost of living is outstripping wages, price gouging is rampant and we’re being forced to pay utility companies more so they can hand it straight over to shareholders and executives. Meanwhile, it’s difficult to see a doctor and impossible to see a dentist.

I don't know if you've seen singer-songwriter Jesse Welles. His song The Poor describes what we hear far righters say...you should have worked harder. I hope it helps those who mock the poor to see the light. All his music is timely.

I don’t really mean boring. I would much rather have exciting policies that are about improving everyone’s lives, but that’s not really a thing where I live (U.K.) I could, however, do without the perpetual existential threat of rollercoaster politics. It is distressing and exhausting.

Sigh! I long for politics to become boring again. It feels like forever ago…

“Lessons” which the U.K. government has yet to acknowledge, much less learn anything from.
