We shouldn’t have to wait for a Reform government for this to happen in the U.K.

A contender for the best-named barbershop of all time.

I’m in London and I had occasion to experience “those f-ing stairs” from London Bridge to the riverside walk on the South Bank. Weirdly angled and with strangely narrow treads, they take some concentration to navigate.

It appears to be cockle day on #BournemouthBeach ! This little guy was waving its orange foot, but I wasn’t quite quick enough to catch it. I put it back into the sea. There were loads of empty ones, too. #MarineLife 🦑

I find shells on my local beach and decorate them. They make lovely trinket dishes and ring boxes to sell on Etsy, but I do end up keeping quite a few.

Unusual happenings on Bournemouth Beach: lots of (I think) King scallops turned up! I know they’re around, but it’s rare to find one. Most were alive, but some weren’t, and the gulls were having a feast. #marinelife #Shells 🦑 🐚

For comparison, this is last year when Rocco the rhino was a few weeks old. #rhinos

Visiting Yorkshire for my dad’s funeral, I stayed at the hotel at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Last year I stayed here when I visited my dad and I saw this rhino as a little baby, gambolling around like a puppy. This time they were indoors when I arrived but as I left I got to see them in person! 😊🦏🦏

I put (threw!) it in the water at the low-tide point. Hope you’re doing well little buddy! Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It was getting dark, but it was low tide and I wanted to get the little thing back home, so off we went to the beach.

I collect empty shells from my local beach to decorate. I have found a few of these, but this was particularly perfect. It looked empty, so I took it home and left it by the sink. The next time I looked, the little creature had appeared. Someone was home!

Found this on Bournemouth Beach. A perfect little Pelican’s Foot shell.

We made it down to the beach in time to see the beautiful sunrise this morning.
I’m grieving for my dad, who died on Saturday night. It’s good to be able to think about him here.

After many years of feeling like that, I finally decided to move here:
