Trump's base simultaneously claims that foreign aid is evil because we have Americans we could be helping, and that domestic aid is evil because it's socialism. I think they just don't want to help anyone anywhere.

Given the torment inflicted upon black Americans throughout our nation's history, this message, essentially "you could have saved yourselves if you had been more faithful," seems in poor taste.

The Left should not be dumbfounded at its ineffectual response to Trump when it is still, *still* stuck in this rhetorical "strategy." There seems to be no place online for someone who hates Trump but realizes that "everyone I disagree with is X-ist" is not and has never been a valid argument.

Also lots of "if you didn't enjoy his performance you're racist," which is absolutely absurd.

As someone who doesn't care enough about sports to have watched the game, I see lots of people claiming that those who don't understand the song are racist, and not a lot of clarification about what the song supposedly means.
