These trade deals are all underwhelming for one simple reason: While trade barriers were a big deal in Trump's youth, they've been tiny for decades. When tariffs are 1-2%, there's not much to gain from a trade war.
But you can do a lot of harm by charging Americans a 15% (or higher) import tax.

As an American living in the UK, I wonder if most Americans realize just how much Trump has irrevocably torched opinions of the US. As autumn turns to winter, my bird feeder has new visitors.
However, probably need to put up more Bird-Savers as I had two bird strikes last week. The birds seemed to be OK, & did not hit head on!
