While not a typical knight-errant, Finrod embodies honour, loyalty, noble wandering, and moral striving — ideals Tolkien associated with #errantry. His self-sacrifice in Sauron’s dungeon is perhaps the most chivalric moment in Tolkien's legendarium.

Oh, that's confusing, on my Amazon and their website it said it is the first edition and coming out today. Whatever happened there, I am looking forward to reading it.
