I need the full game of Roadside Research to come out so bad. (Good news, it's coming out this year.)

How had I never heard of Sherlock & Co. until this weekend? It's so good. Been alternating between the podcast and reading the original Doyle stories.

Do you ever get overwhelmed by the amount of books there are to read and how little time there is to read them?

Reading through the Sherlock Holmes canon (and some books that aren't part of the canon). Watson is VERY gay for the consulting detective.

A new murderbot short story came out this month (Rapport)! And we have a new novella(?) coming out in May 2026 (Platform Decay). I really enjoyed Rapport, fit it in as part of my Murderbot re-read. It's focused on Peri and its crew immediately after Artificial Condition.

The way I've seen people talking about alt text, I worry that many of you have never even spoken with a blind person. Let's change that.
Today only, it's Ask a Blind Woman time, where there's no shame in asking your weird, uncomfortable or uninformed questions, so long as they're in good faith.

tws: cancer, death, abuse

I don't know how I feel yet, but my abusive grandmother is in town to say goodbye bc she has 4+ forms of cancer, and we're all going out to dinner tonight. I want (and plan) to be pleasant and surface level, but I also feel so frustrated and angry.

Cosmere friends! No spoilers

Isles of the Emberdark is out on kindle, and it's excellent. I only recommend it if you're caught up on all current Cosmere books. Enjoy!

I finished a book last night but reading has felt so difficult with all the rain lately. Need a quick palate cleanser so I'm going to re-read the A Psalm For the Wild-Built and A Prayer For the Crown-Shy first. They're a gentle detour when the road feels too long.

You should never stop learning about and engaging with the things you care about. My last Deaf read was True Biz in June, and I'm reading The Hidden Treasure of Black ASL this month.
