Sure, both of these cases won't have a model of said concepts the way other humans do, but to say they will *never* develop *any* meaningful model? Even a flawed model can be correct sometimes, surely.

To say LLMs can never understand the world because it never experienced it, is like saying you can never teach a blind person to understand colour.

I can't even tell if it is on all YT shorts and I'm just not that perceptive against AI anymore, if I'm actually being AB tested, or if I'm completely losing my mind and imagining it all. Help?

Things like Google search is terrible now, but I can already imagine a dystopian future where all search engines get replaced with AI ad bots. Confidently spewing out ad placements that sounds like genuine advices. No way to filter, no other options to choose from.

Jokes aside, I want to remind everyone of the crazy advancement in AI over what is basically a single generation.
We went from barely having affordable household electronics to cheap instant global access to a super machine that can talk in almost every language and do a bit more on top.

Like Chris I also have my auto-rotate off most of the time. Mainly because it doesn't work well with various messaging apps.

I wanna also complain about the mobile experience where if you ever go to fullscreen, it will take you three taps in different locations on very small buttons to exit fullscreen without launching into another video. Like I have to beg google "please I've had enough sir" or something to stop watching
