Yorkshireman lost in Ottawa. Cat lover. Time lord. Nostalgic old crank. Huddersfield Town supporter.
No one in the building will know I did it, either.
I'm not sure anyone will even care.
But it would be nice if the building staff went back to cleaning the building again. It shouldn't be up to me to clean up other tenant's messes.

I am not designed for this kind of weather.

Canadians are mostly talk when it comes to buying Canadian. Sure, there are significant numbers doing so, but those are starting to dwindle. I'm not sure it truly was the majority at any point this year.
A lot of people just want the American alcohol and invent excuses.

That's what I like best.
Cones in random places.
I have questions that only the cones can answer.

The dementia is so bad, I honestly think he truly believes what he's saying. It's so advanced that he's completely incapable of separating fact from fiction.
In a different time, he would have been put away somewhere to protect him, and the rest of us. His enablers have a lot to answer for.

Ha!
No, the category was about city mayors.
Contestants had to guess the city the people named were mayors.
Sadiq Khan(London) was the one before and Anne Hidalgo (Paris) was the one after Sutcliffe.

So I could have someone with a brain who can keep me in check in case I go off the rails.
Plus, you have a lot of good ideas I'd like to see become reality.

I'm fully with you.
But a part of me is wondering if he moved the party to the right to entice red tories to jump ship. If I were him, once I got enough, I'd shift the party to the left, put progressive legislation in place knowing I had a majority.
Then again, If I were PM I'd probably hire you.

Imagine a tourist experiencing this coming from a country with an actual rail system that works and is consistently on time. Like, this is the most embarrassing shit. We're a series of resource extraction companies masquerading as a nation and we don't even have a railway worth a damn.

I have never lived in a place that was colder than Calgary, and I'm including Winnipeg when I mention that.
In January of 1989, we woke up -56 degree temps (no windchill).
It made me wish we had never left Iowa a few months earlier and had been able to finish out my high school there.
